Welcome to the East Midlands Homepage

"This above all - to thine own self be true,
And it must follow, as the night the day,
Thou canst not then be false to any man.
(Hamlet Act 1, Scene iii)

It all starts here.  Over 60 schools have registered to take part in the East Midlands, from Gainsborough to Northampton, from Chesterfield to Skegness.  To find a list of schools and theatres taking part follow the links on the left.

We are pleased to announce that Nottingham East Midlands Airport (part of the Manchester Airports Group) has agreed to be the East Midlands regional sponsor.  This is great news for everyone involved in the Festival and we look forward to working with them.

This page is an opportunity to stay informed regionally, so please send me your ideas, experiences, any forthcoming fundraising events and any photographs that you would like to share; my email address is cecily.breese@ssf.uk.com  If you are a pupil and involved in the Festival please submit something too.

I look forward to hearing from you. See you in January.

Best wishes
Cecily Breese
Festival Coordinator, East Midlands
