Sponsor a Night

Every night in October and November four schools perform four different 30-minute plays in professional UK theatres in front of a paying audience. Prior to performance, each school receives a full theatre day including dress and technical rehearsals with professional venue staff and technicians. The final performance is the result of months of hard work and commitment.

The Festival relies on the support of generous companies and individuals to ensure that SSF is able to continue its work. By sponsoring a Festival night supporters can give 10-18 year olds the opportunity to perform Shakespeare’s plays at a theatre of their choice.

“At the end, I looked around and I saw 15 of my friends, all with relieved faces, we were so proud. I just knew how I felt at that moment but to see everyone feels the same added to it. You could just feel it.” – Joe, 15, Royal Liberty Boy’s School, Kenneth More Theatre, Ilford
