Support Us
Support the Shakespeare Schools Festival (SSF) and enable more young people to access the arts and experience a life-changing engagement with education and life through professional theatre. As a registered charity, SSF relies heavily on the goodwill of private donors to continue its work with young people. All funds raised will ensure the ever widening reach of SSF's work.
The Shakespeare Schools Festival has grown rapidly. Since its inception in 2000 the Festival has used Shakespeare's words to empower 90,000 young people - to inspire confidence, articulacy and ambition. No teacher, parent or government can force the passionage engagement with Shakespeare's language and insight experienced by SSF casts - no matter how small their role.
We need your help to continue our work skilling teachers - each year 650 teachers are introduced to new ways of teaching through doing - and to make SSF a reality for thousands more young people across the UK.
You can donate (see below) but you can also introduce us to a trust or foundation. We're interested in small regional trusts as well as large, national ones. Perhaps you know a board member? Or you could introduce us to a sponsor? These can be individuals or businesses local to a theatre or large, household names.
There are a number of ways you can support the Festival: you can now donate safely and securely online via the Big Give. We also offer a "Friends of the Festival" scheme for individuals, unique packages suited for corporate support, and giving opportunities for trusts and foundations or you can host a fundraising event at your house. All other donations, financial or in kind are most welcome. Download our donation form and send SSF a cheque made payable to Shakespeare Schools Festival. Thank you for your support.
