The Registration Fee
For the registration fee of £730 (plus VAT) you receive:
- A Teacher CPD training day with the National Theatre
- A half day performance skills Cast workshop for your students
- Opportunities for the involvement of a technical student and a student marketing team
- Scripts, resources and marketing materials
- A technical and dress rehearsal in a professional theatre with professional practitioners on the performance day
- Tailored support from your regional coordinator
It costs SSF £1600 per school to run the project. The remainder is raised from box office, sponsorship, trusts and foundations and fund-raising events. SSF is both unique in its offer and excellent value for money.
Ideas for raising the registration fee include:
- Sharing the fee between departments e.g. English and Drama, English and History, Drama and Business Studies, Music and Drama etc.
- Accessing funding linked to national school strategies
- Encouraging student ownership through in-school “cake-bake” fund-raising initiatives
