Reward those who have contributed to their community through drama.
Recognise their great work by nominating them for a
DIANA AWARD.
The Diana Award is an official memorial to the late Princess of Wales, and recognises young people who make a lasting difference to their communities, families or friends. It was set up by and has the support of the British Prime Minister Rt Hon. Gordon Brown.
The Award reaches out to ALL suitable young people across the world. This is not a competition; as long as the simple conditions are met the award is given.
To date the award has been UK-wide only and we have welcomed over 21,000 young people aged 12-18 years to this special community. We are so proud to be working with Shakespeare International on our first International venture and hope you will make us make it a success by nominating the outstanding young people within your country.
You can nominate young people who inspire the lives of others e.g. producing a play under difficult circumstances, supporting cast and crew, overcoming language and cultural barriers. Nominations can be made for up to 6 individuals or a group of up to 30 members (with groups we will allow nomiations that include young people who are outside the age range).
