Visiting Arts
Visiting Arts works together with the British Council to promote the flow of international Arts into the UK and develop related cultural links abroad to help build awareness and partnerships. Their advice and support is essential to our collaboration with countries own arts organisations, developing our understanding of drama within a country’s culture and how best to achieve a cultural richness
in every production.
Visiting Arts prioritised countries include: China, Indonesia, Japan, Vietnam, India, Russian Federation, Brazil, Syria and UAE.

The British Council
As the UK’s international organisation for educational opportunities and cultural relations, their role will vary from country to country. In developing countries the British Council will help manage, sometimes host the night of the performance. In others it will act as the cultural ambassador, ensuring that the relevant people are invited and the unique nature of the event is properly exploited.
A template for its involvement in a developing country has already been worked out in Lilongwe with the British Council Malawi Director.
