Summer Solstice

Stationer's Hall hosted A Midsummer Night's Dream dinner for the RNIB Talking Books.Since the drinks reception was hosted in the leafy courtyard garden, the master of Stationer's Hall, who had already been impressed by SSF performances at a previous event, invited SSF to provide a short extract of A Midsummer Night's Dream. A cast of 'Mechanicals' from Pimlico Academy, directed by teacher Lisa Duggin, performed their play-within-a-play in front of the newly married Theseus, Duke of Athens and his bride Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons.
