2009 Festival
From 18th September until 12th November, in 67 professional theatres across the UK, 10,000 11-18 yr olds performed half-hour versions of some of Shakespeare's greatest plays. Special Schools, youth theatre groups, independent schools, pupil referral units, under-achievers, gifted and talented – all worked together.
Each Teacher Director received a workshop from the National Theatre Discover Programme. Each Cast also received a workshop, run by the National Youth Theatres of Great Britain.
